Are you in? That's great! At the same time, travel, accommodation, and AEB get connected itself have an impact on the climate. Sustainability and the avoidance or reduction of emissions are important to us. We therefore take many measures, both large and small, and make suggestions so that together we can make AEB get connected as sustainable as possible.
Reduce emissions on your trip
Traveling by train
Traveling by train is probably the most resource-friendly way to get here. We therefore recommend this to all participants.
From Stuttgart main station, follow the signs to the tram (“U-Bahn” - unfortunately quite a long walk at the moment due to a short-term *wink wink* construction site). From subway platform 4 you can take lines 5, 6, or 12. Then get off at the Riedsee stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to AEB.
Traveling by electric car
AEB provides charging facilities for electric cars in our parking garage for participants of get connected. And if carpool and arrive together, you can look forward to dedicated parking spaces.

By choosing a sustainable hotel, you support the reduction of the AEB get connected footprint. Eat tasty, seasonable food that's sourced locally
When selecting products for our catering, we pay attention to sustainability criteria such as seasonality and regionality.
Interacting and learning new things makes you hungry. We offer catering throughout the day that not only feeds you, but also makes you really satisfied and gives you new energy. Our food impresses with its taste, variety, and aesthetics. In the morning and afternoon there are snacks and energy boosters on offer, while at lunchtime carefully selected food trucks provide you with dishes that meet our sustainability standards. Throughout the day, you can choose from a variety of drinks, from coffee variations to apple juice spritzers from regional orchards.
Power through with sustainable, efficient energy
Our headquarters and our data centers stand out for their efficient and environmentally sustainable energy concept, which takes into account all available regenerative energy sources.
Core of the energy concept: We use the waste heat from the two data centers to air-condition the building and generate hot water. For this purpose, the data centers transfer their heat to a 350m³ underground water tank, the water of which is used to heat the AEB corporate headquarters. The cool night air in summer cools the sprinkler tank, which then helps to keep the data center and the entire building cooler during the day.
A photovoltaic system was installed to supply power to the data centers. The combination of state-of-the-art technology and conscientious construction planning has contributed to the fact that the requirements of the EnEV 55 “Energy-efficient building” energy saving ordinance have been significantly exceeded.
Experience regional event technology from procurement to operation
Our event technology provider is based in the region, which saves us long transportation and travel distances. The manufacturers of the equipment we use are also from the wider Stuttgart area - between Backnang, Ulm, and Weissach. Our technical partner also repairs the equipment in their own workshop, which extends the service life of the technical equipment.
