Managed Contracts Specialist (Freight Contract Management)

We are establishing a new Managed Contracts Service team in BGC Manila to support our growing international customer base.

In this role, you will manage and maintain freight contracts and rate agreements on behalf of our customers within our freight cost management systems. You will work closely with global customers and collaborate with our product development team in Germany to continuously improve processes and system capabilities.

This position combines logistics expertise, data accuracy, system thinking and innovation - including the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize contract processing and maintenance.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain and update freight contracts, rate sheets and pricing agreements in our freight cost management systems
• Translate complex contractual terms into structured, system-ready data
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency across customer accounts
• Communicate with international customers to clarify contractual details
• Contribute to standardizing and optimizing contract maintenance processes
• Collaborate with our product development team in Germany to improve system functionality
• Support integration, research and apply the use of AI tools to increase efficiency and scalability

Professional Expertise

• Solid understanding of freight contracts and logistics pricing structures across modes such as Courier, Express & Parcel (CEP), Road freight (LTL, PTL, FTL), Ocean freight, Air freight
• Experience handling rate sheets, offers, and transport agreements
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with structured data

Technical & Personal Skills

• High IT affinity and confidence working with digital systems
• Interest in or experience using AI language models and automation tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) with local and international stakeholders
• Structured, independent, and proactive working style
• Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment
