Space for care

In the Care and Facility Management teams, you’ll look after the needs of our employees – at AEB headquarters in Stuttgart, including the outdoor areas and kitchen – and elsewhere, too, of course. Team responsibilities range from energy management, fleet management, on-site technology, building infrastructure, and internal/external event infrastructure to working in our award-winning on-site cafeteria Kantino. 

You’ll also work with your colleagues to design how spaces are used and shared and ensure an open, respectful environment. You’ll use creativity and empathy to transform spaces into areas of freedom and wellbeing.

Or you’ll work to create transparency internally about AEB’s ongoing development and support our shareholders. Or you can manage the legal aspects of everything from data privacy and protection to invoicing to compliance. 

You can really make a difference here if you have a passion for numbers and well-run processes and like to get things moving – from invoicing to change processes.

Does it make sense to submit an open application for these areas?

Short answer: Yes. 

Long answer: We have fewer colleagues in these areas, and our growth here is slower. That’s why we only occasionally advertise specific positions. Whether an open application works depends on your timing and the timeline you have in mind. Sometimes it’s the beginning of a relationship that leads to an actual job only six months or a year later. But we’re always transparent in communicating the situation and then work with you on the journey forward.

What is your policy on remote work?

The roles in Internal Services are among the few where remote work is not always possible. If you work in the kitchen, in cleaning, or in facility management, for example, you simply must come to the office to perform your job. Otherwise, as with all our positions, you are of course free to choose your place of work in consultation with the team and in consideration of everyone’s needs.

Internal Services, to put a finer point on it, covers internal and external accounting, purchasing, legal and compliance services, data protection, employee services, employer branding, organizational development, various kitchen roles, building services, cleaning, reception, and event management.
