AEB launches Carrier Cloud for SAP®

The software also supports the shipping of hazardous goods in compliance with laws and regulations, and the processing of multi-package shipments. In addition, functionalities for tracking, reporting, and entry certificates are available, as well as options for carbon measurement and reporting via the partner gryn.

With Carrier Cloud for SAP, AEB offers a future-proof solution that helps companies implement their clean-core strategy efficiently. Instead of making extensions in the SAP core, as is often the case with traditional ABAP-based approaches, the AEB solution relies on a flexible, cloud-native architecture.

This also simplifies the transformation to SAP S/4HANA for companies. Here, only the connection to Carrier Cloud for SAP needs to be updated. The connection to the transport service providers on the AEB platform remains intact.

The AEB solution also boasts high scalability and flexibility. For example, companies can easily expand additional shipping and warehouse locations – even in heterogeneous system landscapes.

Another benefit is that AEB runs Carrier Cloud for SAP in its own, GDPR-compliant, ISO-certified data centers in Germany. These are highly secure and ensure a high level of availability. This also means that routing data and service area lists of carriers are automatically updated by AEB. Label and EDI formats thus always meet the current requirements, which increases process reliability.
